"Cymbeline" Nicholson 32 Mk.IV    A classic long keel yacht from the famous Camper and Nicholson yard built in GRP in 1965. Only three owners from new, and regularly updated with new equipment including:  Isuzu 25 hp inboard diesel engine fitted for 2006 season.  Slab reefing mainsail and boom new in 2004. Plastimo roller furling system on foresail and new genoa, 2007 and un- used. Other sails include no.2 genoa, storm jib, and cruising ‘chute. Fitted with Hydrovane self steering gear and tiller pilot.Below deck she has 5 berths in two cabins, galley with 2burner stove with grill and oven. 12v. fridge. Pressurised hot and cold water to sink and separate heads with basin and shower. Lavac. Echosounder, log. Chart table with DSC VHF, and Garmin GPS wired for Yeoman chartplotter. "Forell" 28ft Burmese patrol boat . Built in 1986, designed by Colin Mudie. Single chine marine plywood construction on Makore frames and floors. Marine plywood deck. 1 x 180hp Ford 2704ET Turbocharged Diesel Engine with shaft drive.           Two Berths forward. Dinette to port. Separate heads compartment with marine toilet, shower and washbasin. In cockpit, helm to starboard with galley opposite. Two burner gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink, 40 gallons water capacity. Hot and cold pressurised freshwater. Refrigerator

 "Forell" - Price £ 16,000

“Carima” a Finesse 21 Gaff Cutter    21ft Loa  x  8ft beam  x 2ft draft &  5ft draft centreplate down. A modern classic, this beautifully presented Finesse 21 was built by A.F.Platt of Essex in 1988 with East Coast sailing in mind. Clinker planking in varnished iroko on oak frames. With varnished timber spars, she sets a Gaff mainsail, staysail and furling jib, all in tan Dacron. Inboard diesel engine is a 9hp Yanmar with shaft drive. Below deck she has 3 berths, galley with gas stove, and a Davey coal fired cabin heater. Well maintained she gives all the pleasure of an “old gaffer” but with the benefit of more recent construction.   She is currently in commission on the Orwell, and can be viewed by appointment.  2008 OGA prizewinner

 "Carima"  - Price £8,950

Finesse 21 – “Bluebell.  A good example of this popular class, well suited to local waters, clinker built of iroko on oak by A.F Platt in 1974. Fitted with a Sabb 8hp inboard diesel engine, shaft drive. Bermudan rig with mainsail and furling genoa, all set on silver anodised alloy spars. She has an autopilot  and echosounder. Below there are 2 berths, gas cooker, sink with water tank and pump. For extra comfort she has a charcoal cabin heater heater; and comes complete with manual and automatic bilge pumps, warps, fenders, anchor, etc.  Ashore in our yard ready for inspection. "Bluebell" - Price £ 5,750

This “Lark” is actually a Twinkle Twelve clinker dinghy built of mahogany on oak by Wright and Sons of Ipswich, sometime in the sixties.  12 ft. long and with 4 ft. 8 in. beam she carries about 80 square feet of sail which gives good performance. Complete with trailer, cover, oars, anchor, Seagull outboard and a 9ft GRP tender this boat is available as a complete package, making a good introduction to classic boats

We have two Kestrel Class designed by J. Francis Jones, both requiring some work but cheap!. Cora Ann is  built of clinker mahogany on oak at St. Osyth in 1955,  has spruce spars and a Vire inboard engine. Lifting steel centreplate. Requires some repair to planking at stem. Complete with all gear aboard on her own trailer. The other is a sistership in need of completion following repairs to her deck. No engine, (suitable Yanmar available) but much other gear.

"Catriona"  35ft Gaff Ketch built 1922 by William Osborne of Littlehampton. Long keel with centreboard, of Pitch Pine on oak. Rare Kauri Pine deck. Much recent work carried out by local shipwright owner. Some detail finishing is required; but with a reconditioned 59hp Lister diesel installed with a new shaft and four blade prop, rudder etc. she represents a lot of boat for the money! All the spars and sails are included but not stepped. Afloat on the Deben, she is ready for finishing to your own requirements. For sale due to too many other projects.

With generous beam and freeboard for her size this is one of the more stable 8ft tenders available.  Strongly moulded in grp with built in buoyancy, nicely trimmed with varnished larch gunwhales and outboard engine pad, this useful dinghy comes complete with galvanised bow ring, rowlocks and aft cleat. An older engine, but in good sound running condition, replaced in quest for more power!
